Special PEJE Development Track seminar
For the first time, PEJE is offering a multi-session workshop that is embedded in the SSDSA Biennial Conference. Open to both Schechter participants and people from Jewish day schools that are not part of the SSDSA.network, this seminar will offer an opportunity for intensive learning and training in three critical functions of a school’s development program. Hotel Information
Hotel Update (11/13/06):
We have filled all the reserved rooms at the Boca Raton Renaissance Hotel for participants at the Solomon Schechter Day School Biennial Conference and the PEJE Development Seminar and there are no additional rooms available at this hotel.
Please be assured that we are still accepting registrations for the conference and are assigning rooms at the nearby Holiday Inn Hotel which is three blocks from the Renaissance. The room rate is $89 per night at the Holiday Inn. Conference participants should send their registration form and their hotel reservations to education@uscj.org as soon as possible.

How to Get to the Boca Raton Renaissance Hotel Hotel from the Airport
The Boca Raton Renaissance Hotel is located approximately 30 minutes from both the Ft. Lauderdale Airport and the West Palm Beach Airport.
A1A Airport and Limousine Service picks up from both airports, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. They don’t have a desk at the airport. You need to call them in advance 1-800-330-4762. They will meet your flight. They use Town Cars which hold 3-4 people (& they also have larger vans for larger groups.) The cost is PER CAR, not per person. It is $55 plus tax & gratuity.
If you arrive at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, you can go to the Tri-County Airport Express desk. The cost is $18 per person, plus gratuity. No reservation needed.
If you are arriving at West Palm Beach Airport, you can call Palm Beach Metro Transportation – Yellow Cabs at 561-689-2222. These are metered cabs – $2.00 to start and $2.25 per mile. The ride will cost about $55-$60, which is economical if you share the ride with other conference participants.
